New on the Virtual Newsstand… x 2

Last couple of days have been sporting two fresh virtual magazines for you to dive into. Rue magazine is out with their Small Space issue, and there are some really cool looking small apartments, I especially liked the Studio of Dru Ortega. Take a look…

And then yesterday… Matchbook magazine launched, I immediately was drawn to the editorial on Tuckernuck… all things preppy!

Have fun reading.

New on the Virtual Newsstand... (kind-a!)

Truthfully... you can't really go wrong with the tired and true Blue & White color scheme!
These beautiful images are from the new Matchbook Magazine, and they had me at "Jewel Box"... You'll see, turn to page 40.

I guess this is what happens when you go to the flower market, and is unable to make up your mind! - you just get one of each ;)

In the - fairly - new rue magazine, you can find a beautifully photographed country house and a delicious dinner party, perfect for the upcoming holiday season! I especially loved the cell phone tray, great idea!! ... a small platter set out for everyone to park their cell phones on, only to be picked back up upon leaving the dinner party, perfect conversation starter & perfect for dinner conversation :)

Happy reading!

New on the Virtual Newsstand...

Don't you just love it when you get a reminder in your inbox, about the release of one of the virtual shelter magazines...? Especially when we all have hundreds of TV options, and nothing to watch.

Well, the new matchbook, October 2013, issue is out, and while I have not read the entire magazine yet, I did read the great editorial on Susan Feldman and Alison Pincus of One Kings Lane. Super interesting!!!

Happy reading :)

New on the Virtual Newsstand...

Pretty, Right?? :)

The new Matchbook Magazine hit the virtual newsstand yesterday. While the super talented Christian Siriano made the cover, this is the Fashion Issue after all, I found the introduction to Genifer Sohr a wonderful read!

Genifer's vintage one-of-a-kind-style, is so fresh and preppy, yet vintage-y all at once. LOVE the color and style she has going on!! Check out the article on page 68.

Now, I am not a big jewelery wearer myself, but I can really appreciate when someone does the accessorizing well, all Genifer's colorful pieces are also on display, for you to view.

Looking for more inspiring images that didn't make it into Matchbook, check out Gen's Blog hereYou can also view her Pinterest boards here...

On another note...

The art by Alison Cooley caught my eye as well, must be because I am currently in the art-sourcing-stage for two different clients! Of cause the piece featured, is the one I like the best, and it's also already SOLD... :(

Hope you are having a fantastic Friday!!

Another great magazine hit the Virtual Newsstand yesterday as well... Get your free copy here.

As Mothers Day is fast approaching (in the US), I thought the editorial Mother Daughter Duo of Deux Lux handbags was very appropriate and inspiring!
LOVE the eclectic mix in Sara Naghidi's Manhattan apartment!!

New on the Virtual Newsstand...

Finally! I have been longing for a new e-mag and today the brand new matchbook launched featuring the beautiful and talented Sheridan French.

While the magazine has a lot to offer, they saved the best for last, well, make that page 88, where the interview with Sheridan starts. Loved getting to know a little more, always interesting to me how designers "live behind the scenes"!!

... and if you would like to get your hands on that long skirt, it can be yours by clicking here. You are welcome :)     - only I have a question for Ms French.... How come the fabulous Lillian skirt color is called the Pink Palm, when the leaves are Fiddle leaves....? Just asking :)

Enjoy reading!

New on Virtual Newsstand... Vol.I

It's here.... The first of the new 2013 e-mags!

While I am not a jewelry girl by any means, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Jennifer Fisher, this months matchbook cover-girl! Let me correct that statement... I do not wear a lot of jewelry, but I am fascinated by the workmanship of jewelry, the stones and the history, so in a way I am into beautiful jewels!

I am, however, totally into the hip vibe from her office and showroom in SoHo, here's to wishing I had know about it this past summer, so that I could have visited while walking the streets of NYC :)

Nothing like a little pretty vignette to set the tone.

Check out the new matchbook, and if you have a little extra time, Jennifer Fisher has a website, a FB page & additional super cool inspirational images can be found on Jennifer's Instagram page...

It's a beautiful day here... Hope you are enjoying yours :)

(Almost) New on the Virtual Newsstand...

Here you go.... a brand new Matchbook
While I am fully aware that this post really has nothing to do with Christmas, I just thought it was to pretty to pass up!! ... oh, and I LOVE the little quote "Give yourself a chance to refresh."

This being the Matchbook December issue, there are plenty of Gift Guides to look through and the obligatory Christmas editorial is on a chic Cookie Exchange with the adorable Sabrina Soto. I, however, enjoyed the Lulie's Floral Fancy piece. Coming to you from Charleston, SC, it's a wonderful interview with artist Lulie Wallace.

You can check out more of Lulie's work here, and here is a tumblr page as well.

Have a fun day,
Natasha

New on the virtual newsstand...

I know, I know... it's hard to keep up! I have only had a minute to click through the new Matchbook magazine, but it looks promising!
I find this magazine to be more about good articles, than just pretty pictures, so it requires that I take some more time, which of cause I will do this evening....

Enjoy your day, have a fun Fourth of July Weekend (if you are in The States and celebrating).
PS. How happy and radiant does Rebecca Minkoff look? Wait to you see the images of her in the mag, just a stunning!!
