Loving the texture!!
While I am not entirely sure Suzani's are still "it", I for one have never stopped loving them!! You?
This little image speaks to me in so many ways today... As you know, I am all about the white interior and would never say no to a white slipcovered "anything"! :)
The stone fireplace grounds the space beautifully, and the warmth of the wood in the asian inspired chest keeps things casual, it's as if you almost don't see the big tv on the wall...
Oh, yeah, and the Suzani it's amazing, don't you think??
Get your throw here, these are the best :)

Mixing it up.
Is this a yea or a nay? Too much pattern? To many fabrics and colors??
I am totally undecided on this one.... Love the bright blue couch, and the suzani inspired pillows. Cool punch of color with the orange drapes. Gotta love the striped rug!!
BUT does it all work for you? So many styles mixed together... asian inspired coffee tables, chesterfield leather sofa, modern side chair, chaise and I could go on, and on...
Hmmmmm...?

A few images that inspire!
Following along with Northern Light, you are probably aware that flowers - in all shapes, sizes and colors - are of great inspiration to me...
... and look, even the petals can be candied and eaten! I have not tried this, but the idea is super cool. I have, however, been eating fresh flowers for as long as I can remember; in salads, as decorations on cakes etc.
And these colors... just absolutely YUMMY!!
These image really have nothing to do with each other, yet somehow they all work!
Are you inspired by flowers and their beauty? Do you cook with the petals?

Packing my Bag...

... and traveling back to The States.
It's been a wonderful, long and very relaxing vacation, but all good things must come to an end, as "they" say.
See you in a few days :)

Color splash
Since I went very neutral yesterday, how a bout a little splash of Suzani color today?
LOVE the idea of framing the beautiful fabrics.....
And if you would like a little color in the bathroom, here is a new towel version. Thinking about purchasing one of these for your home? Check out the Table Tonic store, lots of goodies to choose from!
Have a bright and colorful day,

Staying Neutral
A little while back a posted an image of a neutral Suzani bead spread, and I am now following that up with a few really cool images of a small bedroom, Enjoy!
Isn't this pretty?? Love all the white on white, and then the texture from the basket is picked up in the pillows, as well as in the beautiful Suzani.
Now, admittedly, the purple / lavender throw is not a color I would have even thought to use here, but it really does work, don't you think? Perhaps the Suzani has a hint of that color woven in, it's hard to tell.....
Notice the wood sculptures... perhaps a nod to Vincent Wolf?

Pretty perfect in my eyes!
Have a beautiful day!
