Nursery Cuteness! Vol. II

I know, I know, Too cute for words, right?

Came across this little  "Nursery Made for a Future Fashionista" story over on the Domaine website. I just had to share!

We have all - I think - at one point or another been trying to figure out how to incorporate these baby Animal Portraits into our lives - they are all so cute - and what better way than in a Nursery??

What do you think of the soft blue, painted, trim work?? (It's Arctic Blue #2050-60 from Benjamin Moore). 

I think it is so fresh and pretty, totally balances out the feminine wallpaper, and makes this room even more light and pretty!!

The Color Purple

I am so inspired by this super pretty jewel box of a home, featured on the Domaine Website today. If you look closely, the shell of this Southern Charmer, is neutral - white and beige - and then all the yummy color has been layered in, in the form of accessories.

I love that she went for it, committed to the color, chose a slightly bohemian / Moroccan vibe and just "did it"!

Pretty Table Top Inspiration

I just received my daily Domaine Home Inspirational Newsletter, and while there are days I just don't have the time to click through, today was different...

These pretty images were from Lindsay Lohan & Kathryn Irelands project, featured briefly on The Million Dollar Decorators, where KI was decorating LL's home, but prior to us seeing the reveal, LL ended up in a car accident... and we never got to see the finished project. Well, check out this link, and you can see what was created. I remember from the few episodes, that I really liked LL's home! The light & the vibe, but the interiors were awful ... LOL! 

Meanwhile, these table top images were what stood out to me, love the eclectic feel, the colors and the casual vibe of outdoor entertaining!

The Meaning of Home

I just pre-ordered the new book, by Million Dollar Decorator, Jeffrey Alan Marks and I can hardly wait to have it in my hands!! The Meaning of Home is due out in a few days...

While we all await the arrival, I will share a few images the home JAM shares with his partner Ross Cassidy, via Domaine Home (LOVE that site, by the way!).

In the interview Domaine Home did with the two designers, one comment that struck me as funny, but spot on (perhaps because it would be something I would do...?) was Ross mentioning that...

 “Jeffrey likes to stack books for color, not content,” Ross Cassidy tells us of his fiancé. Cassidy teases: “Okay, you just happen to be reading four perfectly sea foam green and celadon books.”

Yes....? That could happen :) It happens in my house all the time!!! (revisit the first image)

What attracts me to their home are all the soothing colors; the sage greens, the lavender , the blues, the greys and all the natural textures! CAN NOT WAIT to study the book !!
